WEEK 6 TO WEEK 28
6– 8 weeks
- Initial appointment with Doctor to confirm your pregnancy
9 Weeks
- Blood test for first Trimester Screening
12 Weeks
- 45 minute appointment with Midwife at the hospital
- Commence Orange Book (bring to every visit)
- U/S as first Trimester Screening
- Flu Vaccination – Discussion
16 Weeks
- 15 minute appointment with your GP
- Referral for Morphology & 20 week appts.
- Discuss delivery options
20 Weeks
- 15 minute appointment with your GP
- Review Morphology U/S
24 Weeks
- 15 minute appointment with your GP
- General Check-Up
- Request for OGT/GTT
27 Weeks
- Blood test
28 Weeks

- Bloods for OGT/FBE/Antibodies
- Anti-D if required

- Book IOL for following week.
POST DELIVERY – VERY IMPORTANT
Please ring and book an appointment for 2 & 6 week POST Delivery Check and baby’s immunisation with both your Doctor and the Nurse.
